What is Wasanbon?
Wasanbon is a traditional Japanese dry sweet made by pressing premium Wasanbon sugar into beautifully crafted molds. It is prized for its exceptionally fine texture and mellow sweetness, which melts gently in the mouth.
Wasanbon sugar is one of Japan's rarest traditional sugars, made from a special variety of sugarcane cultivated only in limited areas of Kagawa and Tokushima prefectures on Shikoku Island. The sugar is carefully refined using traditional methods, creating its distinctive flavor and silky texture that have been cherished for generations.
Its clean, elegant sweetness enhances the tea's natural character without overwhelming its flavors.
